our scientific leaders

We’re led by top scientists in dermatology, chemistry, stem cell research, and natural compounds FROM HARVARD AND MIT.

When our scientific co-founders first met, they had a vision: to create a science-based whole-system skincare line that met their rigorous scientific standards. One they would use themselves.

This multi-disciplinary team worked together to:

• Develop a first-of-its-kind NAD+ Precursor Complex
• Create a delivery mechanism that would support the absorption of ingredients better than any other products on the market
• Lead a global search for the most powerful, naturally-derived ingredients on the planet
• Design a line of products that work together to maximize efficacy using proven ingredients and the NAD+ Precursor Complex
• But they’re still not done. In our Innovation Lab, our scientific team is devoted to the relentless pursuit of breakthroughs in the longevity sciences to achieve optimal vitality and beauty.

Sarina Elmariah, MD, PhD, MPH

Aramore Scientific Co-founder Dr. Elmariah is a board-certified dermatologist and neuroscientist who sees patients regularly with clinical expertise in general dermatology, non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancer management, skin allergies, and chronic itching disorders. She performs translational and clinical research to understand mechanisms of skin sensation, inflammation, allergy development, and aging. She has published numerous articles and abstracts in dermatology and neuroscience journals, including Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, Cell, Nature Communications, and the Journal of Neuroscience. She has delivered over one hundred invited lectures at institutions across the U.S. and abroad. She has also been featured in Shape, O (Oprah) magazine, Women’s Health, Reader’s Digest, Dermatology Times, Today.com, and more.

• Aramore Co-founder, Board Certified Dermatologist and Neuroscientist
• Former faculty at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital
• Fellow, American Academy of Dermatology
• ‘AAD Young Investigator Award for Basic and Translational Science (2018)

Diana Saville

Co-founder and our Head of Research, Diana Saville, has spent much of her career exploring the health impact of natural bioactive compounds. She has helped to develop guidance at a national level on dietary cancer prevention and disease control. She works with a consortium of personalized medicine experts and bioinformaticians at Research to the People to advance research for rare diseases. As the co-founder of BrainMind and former Chief Innovation Officer of the Angiogenesis Foundation, Diana regularly convenes international expert summits on scientific and medical topics with world-renowned scientists and clinicians. An expert in the creative communication of complex scientific concepts, her visualization work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, TED, TEDMED, the World Economic Forum, and Vatican scientific conferences.

• Co-founder, COO, BrainMind
• Chief Innovation Officer, Angiogenesis Foundation
• Biochemical Sciences, Harvard College
• Ph.D. Candidate in Molecular and Cellular Biology, UC Berkeley

Anna Mandinova, MD, PhD

Aramore Scientific Co-founder Anna Mandinova discovered how energy metabolism regulates stem-cell networks in the skin. This has never been done before.

Professor Mandinova was recruited to the dermatology department of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School. She is associate director of the Cutaneous Biology Research Center, Vice Chair for Research of the Department of Dermatology at MGH, and a founding member of the Skin Stem Cell Program at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. Her research laboratory focuses on the molecular mechanisms of squamous cell skin cancer and the genetic determinants of “stemness” in epidermal tissue.

• Director, Harvard Stem Cell Institute Cutaneous Biology Program
• Associate Professor in Dermatology, Harvard Medical School
• World-renowned dermatology scientist
• Associate Director, Cutaneous Biology Research Center, Mass General Hospital

Brad Pentelute, Ph.D.

Aramore scientific co-founder, Dr. Pentelute is a world-renowned peptide chemist and innovator; an expert on natural proteins and developing technologies for compounds to cross biological membranes, including the skin, gut, and brain. Using this approach, Dr. Pentelute and his students can create libraries of millions of proteins that they then screen for effectiveness against a range of diseases. To help with the large-scale protein production needed for all of these projects, Dr. Pentelute’s lab has also invented a new tabletop machine that can string together amino acids using chemistry to synthesize the desired proteins within minutes.

• Professor of Chemistry, MIT
• Co-founder of New Frontier Bio
• Amgen Young Investigator Awardee (2016)
• Novartis Early Career Award in Organic Chemistry
• Young Chemical Biologist Award, International Chemical Biology Society
